Happy President’s Day everyone!Â

No new snow to report and some warmer temps once again. The backcountry continues to not be very inviting, and we are advising folks to stay out of the backcountry until we get more snow. (Which is happening this week.) If you are to go, focus on the up and certainly ski something low angle as everything is locked up and firm. And it is also advised to get some ski crampons as this will make the up much more doable, especially on the steep climbs when good purchase is required. An early wake up to skin Nosedive is always a good call for some good old earned vert (2,000 vertical feet) or skin at any time of the day up Easy Mile by the Toll House lift. 2 laps on Easy Mile equal one Nosedive ascent. Snow is coming so keep the ski stoke alive!
