Sleeper pow day!

Once or twice a year, we get a surprise snow that can only be seen and felt at the higher elevations. If you are in town or in Burlington or the surrounding town, npot  flake could be seen.

Yesterday was prime example of that with 4-6” of new snow coming down at a very hard clip that blanketed the peaks with light and dry powder.  For those in the know or just get out and ski almost every day, we had a very pleasant surprise with winter’s return. From steeps to low angle trees, the skiing was quite sublime and continues to be so for today and for the next few days until we have a chance of the dreaded “R” word again.  Uncut lines were easy to find at the resort and in the backcountry, with thin crowds to be seen anywhere with large rewards coming to those who ventured out yesterday and today.  Go get it or you be one day late and a dollar short if you don’t!
