It is 90 mm underfoot with a 16 to 17 m radius, built on a poplar and fiberglass core with a semi-cap construction. The 149 measures 118/90/105 mm and weighs 1325 g per ski.

The trade-off of a forgiving flex is that it favors fun and easy turning over stiff, race-style power. It is very lively and punchy, and older juniors who race will want a stiffer ski.

It is for teenage skiers, roughly 14 to 18, who want an accessible yet punchy ski for the whole mountain. The focus is on pivot and ease of turning, and the 90 mm waist gives lightweight maneuverability and excellent versatility.

The recommended mount point is 6 cm behind center. Bring your skier in and we will help pick the right length and set up the binding.

We think the Camox Birdie Jr is an awesome ski for young skiers ready to explore every corner of the mountain.
