look-pivot-2-0-18-gw-26-27
LOOK Pivot 2.0 18 GW Binding 26/27

The 18 is the strongest binding in LOOK's Pivot 2.0 line, with a DIN range of 8 to 18 and a weight of 1245 g. The Pivot's turntable heel gives 28mm of elastic travel and rotates directly under the tibia, and the all-metal RACE toe piece adds 45mm of elastic travel with 180° multi-directional release. A short mounting zone keeps swing weight down and lets the ski flex more naturally. It works with Alpine ISO 5355 A and GripWalk ISO 23223 A boot soles.

The trade is range. An 8 DIN floor means this binding is not for a light or cautious skier, and in exchange you get retention that does not let go when you land in the backseat off a cliff. LOOK's long elastic travel and fast re-centering are what keep it from pre-releasing.

It is for heavy, fast skiers and anyone in the park or the big lines who has blown out of lesser bindings. If your DIN sits below 8, take the 15.

Mounting is a shop job. Bring us your boots and we will set the length, which adjusts 13mm back and 6mm forward, and dial the release to your height, weight and skier type.

The binding that built the legend, in its most powerful form. Nothing else feels quite this locked in.
