A lighter ski is easier to carry up the skin track, and it will not feel as planted in chunky snow at speed as the heavier inbounds QST 106. The titanal underfoot and cork in the tip do a lot to keep it composed.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is for advanced and expert skiers who tour for freeride descents and want a ski that handles every snow type. If your skiing is mostly lift-served, the standard QST 106 skis heavier and calmer.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSalomon lists it at 157 to 189cm.
