salomon-shift-crampon-26-27
Shift Crampon 26/27

The Salomon Shift Crampon is the ski crampon for Salomon and Atomic Shift bindings, built for firm, steep snow that is too hard to skin and too firm to walk on comfortably. The 100 mm version weighs about 108 g and has a 105 mm inner width.

The trade-off is a little extra drag and a few seconds at the transition. You slide the crampon in from the side and step on it to engage the snow, and you need to step out of the binding to install it.

It is for Shift skiers who tour on refrozen spring snow, wind-scoured ridges or icy morning skin tracks. It also fits the Armada Shift MNC and the S-Lab Shift2, which use the same crampons, but not Armada Tracer bindings.

The 100 mm size works on skis up to about 105 mm at the crampon position, just behind the toe piece. Measure your ski there before you buy, since some skis around 106 mm and wider need the 120 mm.

We think the Shift Crampon is the easy upgrade that makes your Shift setup ready for any kind of climb.
