It accepts any boot with a standard 75mm duckbill, using a tempered steel bail with three locking levels for different sole thicknesses. The 6061-T6 aluminum toe box sits on a 20mm nylon riser, and the Hardwire system uses threaded steel rods and cartridge springs instead of braided cable.

The trade-off is that this is a straightforward 3-pin design. It trades the complexity of newer tele systems for simplicity and proven Nordic feel, and the Hardwire assembly detaches when it is time to tour or climb.

It is a great match for telemark skiers on 75mm boots, backcountry tourers who want dual-height climbing elevators and a heel pad, and anyone who mixes Nordic turns, parallel turns and skin climbing.

This is the Short Rod size, built for mondo 24 to 26.5. Larger boots, mondo 27 to 31, use the Standard Rod version.

We love the Hardwire 3-Pin as a durable, versatile tele binding for smaller boots.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0823/9955/9918/files/voile_hardwire_3_pin_telemark_binding_main_621098ae-608d-44f1-917d-8af45ff0bdc0.jpg?v=1791854754
