The Salomon MTN Summit Pro Boot for Women is for ladies who spend long days in the skin track looking to tackle big objectives.  Tipping the scales a scant 1020 grams per boot, it s light enough to give you the energy that you need for multiple laps and for breaking trail all day long.  The Summit Pro is loaded with user-friendly features. A Boa fit system quickly tightens and releases tension to give you that comfy fit on the way up, and secure fit on the way down. The Boa system also automatically tightens the Touring Belt, which acts as an instep buckle to provide stellar heel lock and hold. Not only does this give you better downhill performance similar to alpine boots, but also reduces friction while climbing uphill. And speaking of uphill, its equipped with Salomon's Surelock Skiwalk mechanism allowing for lots of range of motion. With its walk mechanism in ski mode, the cuff attaches to the spine, which is bolted to the lower shell. A flick of a lever makes it easy to engage either mode, even with gloves or mittens on. The liner of the boot is heat moldable and is billed as a custom for Tour Light liner, which has impressive foam density in the heel and ankle pocket with two straps for easy entry. It all closes tightly with a 6-point BOA closure system with a "touring belt" (A flexible elastic/rubber piece over the ankle) that's adjusted via the BOA closure system across the ankle/instep area of the boot.
