The Salomon S/Lab MTN Summit was engineered and designed by Cody Townsend, who used this boot exclusively on all of his Fifty Project tours last season. Its light weight, boasting 1,050 grams so you can cover some serious ground with this boot. But anyone can make a lightweight boot, it’s all about the fit and performance that makes the MTN Summit a stand out. It has a 98- millimeter last, but can be expanded all the way up to 105mm with Custom Shell HD.  It has a carbon spine which produces a strong connection between the upper and lower spines of the boot, which translates to great power from the boot, to your binding to the ski. A BOA Fit System provides a great fit to wrap around your foot so it fits just right for optimum comfort and responsiveness. And with a 70-degree range of motion, you will be flying uphill in this boot. Case in point, if its good enough for Cody to use on all of his extreme tours up and down, it will certainly good enough for your needs.
