Folkrm Pahto 25/26

The Folkrm Pahto is an adjustable ski touring pole with an aircraft grade 7075 aluminum shaft and a tungsten carbide tip. It adjusts from 105 to 135 cm with an easy flip lock, packs down to 79 cm, and weighs an ultralight 232 g (8.2 oz). Up top, a molded, rubberized Mega Cap handles riser flips and toe locking, and the Classic Folkrm Long Grip is extended EVA foam. A locking 9 cm freeride powder basket and an easily removable strap round it out.

The trade-off of any adjustable pole is a few more moving parts than a fixed-length pole. The flip lock adds a mechanism to keep an eye on, in exchange for a pole that changes length on the go.

It is made for ski tourers and backcountry skiers who switch between long climbs, sidehills, and descents, and want one light pole that does it all.

The Pahto is one size fits all thanks to the 105 to 135 cm range, and the extended grip lets you choke up or down without changing length.
