The Gordini GTX Storm Short Mitt is a men's insulated ski mitten built around a Gore-Tex insert for waterproof, breathable protection. It pairs a durable 10K polyester shell with Megaloft synthetic insulation, a moisture-wicking lining, CLUTCH recycled leather trim, and a zippered pocket for an extra hand warmer.
The trade-off is the one every mitten makes: keeping your fingers together adds warmth but gives up some dexterity compared to a five-finger glove, so fiddly tasks like buckles and zippers take a little more effort.
This one is for skiers and riders whose hands run cold and who want a simple, warm, weatherproof mitt for long chairlift days and stormy laps.
It uses an under-sleeve short cuff with hook-and-loop adjustment that pops open easily, even with your mittens on, plus Gordini's Fastlock lacing system. Articulated shaping is designed to reduce hand fatigue when gripping poles, and the textured palm and fingers add grip. A leash is included.
We think it is a great cold-day mitt for Vermont winters, especially with a heater tucked into that zip pocket.
