Ski Crampons 25/26

ATK Ski Crampons are made from a robust, lightweight alloy and are designed for ski mountaineering on firm, steep snow. They come in widths from 70 mm to 135 mm, ranging from 49 g for the 70 mm to 132 g for the 135 mm. Most widths have a deep bite, while the 70 mm race version is shallower with extra cutouts to save weight. A carrying pouch is included.

The trade-off is compatibility. They fit most Dynafit-style toe pieces, but notably not Plum bindings, so it pays to confirm your binding before heading out.

These are for touring skiers and ski mountaineers who run into icy skin tracks, wind-scoured ridgelines, or hard spring snow on steep climbs and want extra grip without carrying much extra weight.

ATK crampons are exactly the width specified. Measure your ski where the crampon will sit underfoot and choose a size larger than that measurement.

We think they're a smart, light piece of insurance for any touring kit, and they make firm, steep morning climbs feel a whole lot more secure.
