The Lange Shadow 130 MV redefines what a traditional alpine ski boot can deliver. Designed for expert skiers who demand uncompromising power, precision, and control, this boot introduces an assisted-performance architecture that multiplies your energy instead of wasting it.

At the heart of the Shadow is Lange’s Assisted Performance System, a revolutionary combination of Dual Pivot and Suspension Blade technology that amplifies skier input by up to 26%. Every movement you make is translated into stronger, cleaner power transfer with less physical effort — allowing you to ski harder, longer, and with greater consistency across variable terrain.

The flex is smooth, progressive, and exceptionally controlled, while integrated vibration absorption enhances snow feel and edge contact. Much like a full-suspension mountain bike, the Shadow 130 MV absorbs chatter and impacts while keeping you locked into the line.

A 100mm medium-volume Performance Fit pairs with a fully customizable Core Custom liner to deliver precision without sacrificing comfort. From first chair to last run, the Shadow 130 MV provides a powerful, balanced ride for skiers who push the entire mountain at full throttle.

Assisted Performance System

A breakthrough boot architecture that uses mechanical leverage to amplify skier input. By increasing rebound and energy transfer by up to 26%, it delivers more power with less fatigue.

Dual Pivot

Strategically repositioned pivot points create a mechanical advantage that engages the full length of the boot, producing smoother flex, stronger edge pressure, and enhanced control.

Suspension Blade

An external spine connects the upper and lower shell, allowing them to move together. This creates superior shock absorption, cleaner flex, and more efficient energy transmission through every turn.

Adjustable Performance Flex

Interchangeable elastomers allow fine-tuning of flex feel. Swap the Blade elastomer to soften the flex by approximately 8% for personalized performance.

Dual Core Shell Construction

A proprietary sandwich construction injects soft and rigid plastics simultaneously. The result is explosive rebound, powerful elastic response, and precise energy delivery where it matters most.

Core Custom Liner with Auxetic Technology

Thermoformable liner adapts in all three dimensions for uniform pressure distribution, exceptional comfort, and a dialed-in performance fit.

One-Piece Liner Design

Seamless padding from foot to cuff eliminates pressure points and ensures consistent contact throughout the boot.

Asymmetrical Toe Box

Curved toe box design reduces pressure across the toes, improving circulation and comfort without compromising control.

R.B.T. (Reactive Boost Tongue)

High-energy polyurethane tongue with honeycomb structure enhances rebound, balance, and responsiveness through the entire flex cycle.

GripWalk® Mounted Soles

Rubberized tread and rockered profile improve traction and walking comfort while maintaining alpine-level power transmission and release compatibility.

Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.

This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes

Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.

Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
