The Lotus 112 is DPS's everyday powder ski, refined for 26/27 with even easier initiation and release than the original 112. It has a 112 mm waist and full carbon construction over proprietary wood cores made in-house, with Rockwell 48 steel edges, a 4000-series World Cup base with factory-applied PHANTOM Glide, a tougher textured topsheet and an aluminum tailbar. This one comes in Banana Yellow and is made in the USA.

The trade-off of a powder-first shape is that soft snow comes before everything else. Refined rocker lines, balanced taper and a powder-forward shape prioritize float, smooth transitions and effortless release, so skiers who spend most days on firm groomers will want something narrower from the Kaizen line.

It is for skiers who want a dedicated powder ski for storm days, post-storm leftovers, wide-open bowls and playful terrain. DPS built it to improve planing speed, directional control and flow in soft snow, the ski you trust when powder is the plan but not the only variable.

DPS makes it from 158 to 189 cm. Come see us and we will help you choose the right length.

We think the Lotus 112 is the ski to grab on a storm morning, and it makes every deep day in the Green Mountains even better.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
