The Faction Studio 2 is the modern skier’s do-it-all twin-tip, a powerful, playful, and precision-driven all-mountain tool built for riders who want to explore everything the mountain has to offer. With a 102 mm waist, a progressive twin-tip shape, and a construction engineered for energy and durability, the Studio 2 seamlessly blends resort all-mountain capability with backside agility and true park performance. Whether you’re ripping groomers, boosting side hits, threading through soft snow, or dialing in tricks, this ski delivers intuitive response and high-output fun on every lap.

A lightweight Poplar wood core fuels the Studio 2’s lively personality, offering strong edge hold and natural dampening while maintaining a smooth, poppy flex ideal for butters, airs, and high-speed transitions. Carbon stringers add stability without weight, while the Rubber/Carbon stomp pad reinforces the ski underfoot, letting you take repeated deep landings with confidence. Crafted in Austria using 100% renewable energy and recycled materials, the Studio 2 pairs long-term durability with environmentally conscious construction.

Energetic, adaptable, and remarkably precise, the Studio 2 is the ski that outperforms expectations across every zone of the mountain. If you want a true all-mountain twin that can handle park laps, backside snow, and everything in between, this is the one you’ll reach for every single day.

Studio Progressive Twin Shape

A modern twin-tip design with a slightly wider tip and narrower tail for improved downhill stability, carving performance, and predictable control. Equal tip and tail height support effortless switch skiing, while generous rocker and balanced taper create a loose, playful feel without sacrificing edge engagement.

Poplar Wood Core

A lightweight and durable softwood offering an ideal blend of pop, flex, strength, and vibration absorption. Poplar keeps the ski lively and energetic while maintaining stability at speed, delivering consistent edge hold on groomers and forgiving flex for park and all-mountain play.

Carbon Stringers

8–12 unidirectional carbon strips run the length of the ski, integrated seamlessly into the fiberglass matrix. These increase torsional rigidity and dampening without adding unnecessary weight, giving you a smooth, powerful ride from tip to tail.

Boat Flex Profile

A freeride-inspired flex pattern designed for skiers who want both high-speed confidence and explosive pop. Stiffer tips and tails improve stability and landing support, while a softer mid-section allows the ski to load energy and release it effortlessly, ideal for jumps, transitions, and natural features.

Elliptical Sidecut

A long radius underfoot promotes precise edging and quick pivots, while shorter radii in the tip and tail enhance turn initiation. This shape allows for a wide range of turn styles and mounting positions, giving you freedom to adapt your skiing to terrain, speed, and conditions.

Carbon & Rubber Stomp Pad

A 600mm reinforcement plate underfoot absorbs impact, adds strength, and improves vibration dampening. It increases durability for repeated landings, rail hits, and hard snow conditions, extending the lifespan of the ski and keeping it stable under pressure.

Recycled Materials

Faction reuses base, sidewall, and topsheet scraps in production, reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact without sacrificing durability or on-snow performance.

XL 2.5mm Edges

25% wider and more durable than standard ski edges. Built to withstand heavy park use, firm snow, and repeated impacts while maintaining consistent grip and control season after season.

Full Strength Sidewall

Sidewall construction that protects the wood core, enhances torsional stiffness, and boosts edge hold. Provides stability, durability, and precise handling across all speeds and conditions.

Anti-Chip Micro-Cap

A micro-cap layer wraps and reinforces the vulnerable tip and tail zones, preventing chipping and extending the life of your skis, especially during park sessions or rocky approaches.

Tech Features

Carbon Stringers

8 to 12 unidirectional carbon strips on each side of the core add stability and stiffness without bulk.

Lightweight Poplar & Fiberglass Core

An all-poplar core between two layers of fiberglass, light and poppy, with enough torsional grip to hold an edge on the way down.

Carbon and Rubber Stomp Pad

A carbon and rubber layer underfoot protects the core from hard impacts and adds stability and damping for cleaner landings.

Elliptical Sidecut

A longer radius underfoot for quick pivots and shorter radii in the tip and tail for easy turn starts, so the ski handles many turn shapes and mount points.

Boat Flex

Stiffer tips and tails settle the ski in variable snow and absorb landings, with a touch more flex underfoot for pop.

Freeride Twin Tip

A wider tip and slightly narrower tail for downhill performance, matching tip and tail heights for switch, and generous rocker with modest camber for a playful feel.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
