Meet the Salomon QST 100 — the most playful and versatile member of the QST lineup. Built for riders who mix carving precision with freeride creativity, this 100mm underfoot ski delivers that perfect blend of stability, energy, and float. From morning groomers to sidecountry laps and boot-top powder runs, the QST 100 turns the entire mountain into your personal playground.

The Full Poplar Woodcore brings a lively, responsive feel underfoot, maximizing edge-to-edge connection while naturally filtering out chatter. A Ti Binding Reinforcement Plate runs edge-to-edge beneath your bindings, boosting power transfer and control on hardpack. To keep things smooth and light, Basalt Superlight Fibers and fiberglass layers work together to fine-tune flex while keeping the ride damp and predictable.

Salomon’s signature Cork Damplifier technology — embedded in the tip — absorbs vibration three times more efficiently than traditional materials, cutting chatter and keeping turns fluid in rough snow. Paired with Full Sandwich Sidewalls, you get rock-solid edge grip and stability when the terrain gets firm, while the Freeride Profile rocker ensures effortless pivoting and buttery float when you dive off-piste. Add a long tail rocker and progressive mounting point, and you’ve got a ski that encourages creativity, control, and confidence in every turn.

Quick Rule

  • Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
  • Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
  • Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
  • Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.

Adjust For

  • Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
  • Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
  • Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
