Magna is Atomic's wide-fit boot, XTD is the hybrid alpine-touring designation, and 130 is the flex. The last is a high-volume 102mm. Prolite construction keeps the profile slim while reinforcing key zones, closure is four buckles so you can vary pressure at each point, and the Mimic Platinum Liner is heat-mouldable. Memory Fit customises shell and cuff, Free/Lock 4.5 handles ski-walk with adjustable forward lean, and the cuff gives 54 degrees of range.
A 102mm last is a wide boot, and wide boots give up some precision at the edge compared to a low-volume shell. It is also not light for touring. What you get is a 130 flex boot that a wide foot can actually wear all day.
For skiers with genuinely wide feet who ski the resort hard and tour sometimes. Narrow or low-volume feet should be in the Hawx Ultra XTD instead.
Shell sizing is by full size, so 27/27.5 is one boot. The AFS cuff spoiler comes out for more calf room and the AFS tongue repositions for instep height.
Wide-footed skiers usually settle for whatever fits. This is one of the few wide boots that also skis properly.
Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
