Gravity BeFree 6L Water Filtration System

Designed for group adventures and basecamp convenience, the Katadyn Gravity BeFree 6L Water Filtration System delivers clean, safe water—no pumping required. This lightweight, compact system uses gravity and Katadyn’s EZ-Clean Membrane™ to filter up to 2 liters per minute, removing harmful bacteria, cysts, and sediment with its 0.1-micron hollow fiber technology. Ideal for clear water sources, it’s built to serve anywhere from solo trips to larger groups of 10+.

A wide opening makes refills quick and easy, while the see-through water level window helps track capacity at a glance. The detachable output hose features a quick-release valve with automatic flow-stop to prevent back-contamination when refilling. Hang it from a tree, fill your bottles or hydration reservoirs using the included quick-connect fittings, and enjoy safe hydration with minimal effort. Cleaning is as simple as shaking or swishing the filter in water—no backflushing or special tools required.
