The Zeal Beacon+ is a medium-fit goggle with Observation Deck Technology and a simple pop-on lens connection that changes lenses in seconds. The plus version includes a bonus Optimum Persimmon Sky Blue lens for snowy and low-light days.
The trade-off is the lens system. The Beacon does not use Zeal's Rail Lock or Slide Lock, so swaps are simple rather than lightning fast, but you still get two lenses at an approachable price.
This colourway pairs a Dark Night frame with an Alchemy Mirror lens at 33% VLT, a lens Zeal designed to bring out the contours of the slope in changing light. It comes with a two-pocket goggle bag and Zeal's two-year warranty.
Zeal rates it a medium fit, an average-sized frame most people can wear.
This is a great goggle for anyone who wants a solid two-lens setup and a wide view for every kind of day at Stowe.
