Møre is Norrøna's more classic, less aggressive cut — GORE-TEX protection in a jacket that doesn't announce itself as freeride gear from across a parking lot.
For people who want serious weather protection without the technical silhouette. Same membrane technology as the ski-specific lines, calmer lines and a more traditional fit. It works on a mountain and it works walking down Main Street in Stowe, which is not something you can say about a lofoten shell.
The trade-off is ski-specific features. You're not getting a powder skirt or the articulated freeride cut. If you're skiing deep days, buy a lofoten. If you're skiing occasionally and living in the jacket the rest of the time, this is the more useful purchase by a wide margin.
GORE-TEX is GORE-TEX. The weather protection here is genuine, not a styling exercise with a membrane bolted on.
