Voile Hardwire 3 Pin Tele Binding Standard 22/23

The Voile Hardwire 3-Pin is a made-in-Utah telemark binding that pairs classic Nordic function with modern performance. It accepts any boot with a standard 75mm duckbill, using a tempered steel bail with three locking levels for different sole thicknesses. The toe box is 6061-T6 aluminum on a 20mm nylon riser that ramps slightly upward to match the rocker of many telemark boots. Behind it, the Hardwire system uses threaded steel rods and cartridge springs instead of braided cable for torsional rigidity. Weight is 2 lbs. 13 oz. per pair.

The trade-off is that this is a straightforward 3-pin design. It trades the complexity of newer tele systems for simplicity and proven Nordic feel, and the Hardwire assembly detaches when it is time to tour or climb.

It is a great match for telemark skiers on 75mm boots, backcountry tourers who want dual-height climbing elevators and a heel pad, and anyone who mixes Nordic turns, parallel turns, and skin climbing.

This is the Standard Rod size, built for mondo 27 to 31 (US 9 to 13) and boot sole lengths of 305 to 350mm. Smaller boots use the Short Rod version.
