This membrane is also impressively breathable, with moisture-wicking performance reaching up to 28,000 g/m²/24h, allowing moisture to escape during high-intensity ascents.

Enhanced Comfort & Fit

For all-day comfort, Ortovox integrates 120 Merino Cool Tec inserts inside the collar, which wick away moisture, prevent chafing, and add a touch of insulation to keep you warm on cold, windy ridges. The 2-way adjustable storm hood is helmet-compatible and can be adjusted for a snug fit, providing extra protection against snow and wind. 2-way zippers on the front and under the arms offer multiple ventilation and fit adjustments, allowing for quick cooling and optimized fit, even with a climbing harness.

Practical and Minimalist Design

In line with its minimalist focus, the jacket includes strategically placed pockets and adjustments. A chest pocket and upper arm pocket offer accessible storage for essentials like maps, gloves, or energy bars, while adjustable cuffs and a seam width adjustment let you dial in the fit and lock out cold air or moisture. The entire jacket is also treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is PFC-free, ensuring that water and dirt bead off without harmful chemicals.
