The Black Diamond Mission is a technical freeride glove with a polyester ripstop shell, a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, and 133g PrimaLoft Gold insulation made from 100% recycled polyester. The palm is 100% goat leather for abrasion resistance and dexterity on your poles, and a short neoprene cuff closes with Velcro. It weighs 195g and carries a listed temperature range of -12C to -1C.

The trade-off is warmth versus feel. With a mid-level warmth rating and that -12C bottom end, the Mission is built around dexterity and weather protection, so the very coldest midwinter days call for something heavier.

It is for resort and backcountry skiers who want a durable, waterproof work-horse glove that keeps fingers nimble for buckles, zippers and pole plants through most of the season.

The Mission is a unisex glove with a short neoprene cuff and Velcro closure at the wrist, plus an integrated hand strap.

We think the Mission is a fantastic everyday ski glove, tough enough for tree skiing and comfortable enough to wear from first chair to last.
