The Black Diamond Tour Pro is a backcountry touring daily driver built from 100% goatskin leather with reinforced palms. Inside is a fixed liner of 70% recycled polyester, 29% merino wool and 1% elastane, and an Empel DWR-treated nylon and elastane softshell cuff finishes the wrist. Pointer finger and thumb are touchscreen compatible, pull loops make it easy to get on and off, and Nikwax comes included. Weight runs 107 to 145g depending on size.
The honest trade-off is warmth. The Tour Pro has no insulation, so it is made for high-output movement, and colder, stationary moments like summit transitions are when a warmer glove earns its place in the pack.
It is for ski tourers and splitboarders who want a dexterous, durable leather glove for the skin track, one that handles skins, buckles and bindings without fumbling.
Black Diamond recommends measuring from your wrist crease to the tip of your middle finger to find the right size.
We think the Tour Pro is a classic for good reason, a time-tested uphill glove that only gets better as the leather breaks in to your hands.
