Designed for uphill-focused touring in demanding alpine terrain, this boot delivers elite-level performance where every gram, step, and turn matters.
At the heart of the Travers Carbon Pro is Fischer’s CARBONFUSED® shell and cuff, a cutting-edge blend of carbon fibers and injected plastic. The result is exceptional stiffness and torsional rigidity at an impressively low weight of just 1,070 g per boot. This construction ensures maximum stability on the descent while remaining agile and efficient on long climbs.
Power transmission is further enhanced by the integrated CARBON SOLE insert—a carbon/aramid plate built beneath the rubber outsole. It dramatically increases torsional stiffness and delivers direct, confidence-inspiring energy transfer to the ski, especially noticeable on steep, icy traverses.
Fit and comfort are dialed in with the BOA® H4 Fit System, developed specifically for touring boots. The high-power dial provides uniform shell compression, precise micro-adjustments on the fly, and a secure, glove-friendly closure that eliminates pressure points. Paired with the Travers Pro Liner, the fit remains locked-in and supportive from skin track to summit to descent.
Underfoot, the Vibram® Litebase sole with Traction Lug Technology offers outstanding grip on rock, snow, and mixed terrain. By reducing rubber thickness by up to 50% without sacrificing performance, Litebase lowers swing weight while maintaining durability and traction—ideal for technical bootpacks and exposed ridgelines.
On the move, Fischer’s Double Lock Ski/Walk mechanism ensures absolute reliability. A spring-loaded dual locking system securely connects cuff and shell, while an additional safety hook prevents accidental release. The adjustable forward lean allows quick customization between 13° and 16°, letting you fine-tune stance for climbing efficiency or downhill aggression.
For expert tourers who prioritize uphill performance but refuse to compromise on downhill confidence, the Travers Carbon Pro stands at the pinnacle of modern ski touring design.

Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
