The gold standard in backcountry performance, the Scarpa Maestrale RS has been completely reengineered for the modern skier who demands both uphill efficiency and downhill power. Redesigned from the ground up, this latest generation brings together state-of-the-art, planet-friendly materials with a refined anatomical fit—offering the lightest, most powerful Maestrale yet. Whether tackling technical ascents or carving committed descents, the Maestrale RS delivers uncompromising performance for dedicated backcountry skiers.
A new 102mm last enhances both comfort and precision, shifting the widest point of the shell laterally toward the “sixth toe” area for improved fit and control. The reshaped toe box and heel pocket provide a more locked-in, responsive feel without sacrificing comfort, ensuring a smoother, more efficient stride and confident downhill stance.
Built with a Carbon Core Shell and Cuff, this design merges Grilamid® Bio and Pebax® Rnew® materials for exceptional power transmission and torsional stiffness—without adding extra weight. The result is a boot that flexes progressively through each turn while maintaining structure under pressure. Combined with a 61-degree range of motion, the Maestrale RS allows for natural, energy-saving movement on the climb and precise, assertive control on the descent.
The Pro Flex Performance Intuition® liner ensures a secure, customizable fit that keeps feet warm, dry, and supported through long missions. Meanwhile, the Speed MLT ski/walk mechanism delivers smooth, intuitive transitions, and the Vibram® Cayman LT sole ensures confidence and traction in technical terrain. Finished with a Booster® Active Power Strap for enhanced rebound and a PFAS-free waterproof construction, the Maestrale RS stands as a benchmark of innovation, sustainability, and mountain-ready strength.

Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
