The women's Shift Alpha BOA 115 is Salomon's freeride-touring boot built around a women-specific cuff with lower rear support for the calf. Tech inserts make it touring-ready, the FreeSpine bar links cuff and shell, and the Twinlock SkiWalk opens up a wide range of motion. The cuff blends polyolefin with PEX for stiffness without extra weight, and the flex is 115.
It skis like an alpine boot and tours when you ask it to, which means it carries more weight than a touring-only boot. The Exobelt and BOA system hold the heel steady on the skin track, a hiking hook on the top buckle frees up stride, and a Midgrip sole with Contagrip and GripWalk pads helps on rock and ice.
It is built for women who ski hard in-bounds and want the option to tour. If your days are mostly long approaches, a lighter touring boot is a better match.
Width is narrow. The My Custom Fit Freeride 4D Pro liner uses cushier foams, external Talyn and an elastic toe box, and the custom tongue adjusts the instep by 8mm either way. Custom Shell HD gives our bootfitters plenty of room to work.
This is a boot for the women who want to charge the whole mountain and keep going beyond the ropes. Supportive, grippy and ready for anything.
Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Half Sizes
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
