Introducing the newly redesigned Scarpa Maestrale, the pinnacle of backcountry touring boots, engineered with cutting-edge, planet-friendly materials to deliver an unbeatable combination of lightness and power. This latest generation of the Maestrale sets a new standard in performance, making it the ideal choice for skiers seeking a warm, reliable, and versatile boot that excels on both the slopes and in the backcountry.
Updated Last
The Maestrale features a newly crafted 102mm wide last that enhances both comfort and performance. With the widest part of the shell positioned further back on the lateral side of the foot, near the "sixth toe," the boot offers improved comfort in a critical area. The reshaped toe box and heel pocket significantly boost precision and responsiveness, ensuring a snug fit that enhances your skiing experience. More comfort translates to more performance on every descent.
Carbon Core Technology
For the first time, the Maestrale integrates innovative Carbon Core technology, incorporating carbon fiber into the design. This addition provides exceptional strength and stability to the Pebax® Rnew shell, resulting in enhanced performance and power transmission that serious backcountry skiers demand.
Specifications:
The Maestrale is equipped with the new Cayman LT sole, developed in collaboration with Vibram®, featuring an ergonomic design that ensures optimal grip across all terrains. Crafted from the Durastep compound and featuring Traction Lug Technology, this sole increases traction by up to 25% while maintaining stability, making it compliant with DIN ISO 9523 and compatible with all TLT bindings on the market.
Experience unparalleled performance in the backcountry with the Scarpa Maestrale—your ultimate companion for skiing adventures.
Ski boots are sized in Mondopoint, based on the length of your foot in centimeters. The chart below is a general reference for converting between sizing systems.
This chart is not a fitting. The only way to know your ski boot size is to be fit in person, either with a Boot Fitting at our shop or from a professional fitting you have had elsewhere. Sizing, shape, and volume vary by brand and model, and a performance fit is snugger than your street shoe. Unworn boots can be returned under our return policy, but a boot that doesn't fit can be a big hassle for your trip if you haven't tried it on.

Conversions are approximate and can differ by half a size between brands.
Ski boots are built with one shell for each full and half size, so a 27 and a 27.5 are the same boot with a different liner or footboard. That is why sizes are listed together, like 27/27.5.
Very few models differ from this. Scarpa is the main exception, pairing sizes the other way (for example, 26.5/27 share a shell). When a model is sized differently, we call it out on that product's page.
