The 13 brings the Pivot design into a friendlier release range. The Pivot's turntable heel gives 28mm of elastic travel and rotates directly under the tibia, and the all-metal RACE toe piece adds 45mm of elastic travel with 180° multi-directional release. A short mounting zone keeps swing weight down and lets the ski flex more naturally. It carries the same steel and aluminum construction and the same Alpine ISO 5355 A and GripWalk ISO 23223 A compatibility as the rest of the line.
What you give up against the 15 is top-end retention for the heaviest, fastest skiers. What you get is the identical turntable heel and race toe at a lower price, which is the best value in the family for most people.
It suits advanced skiers of average build who want Pivot performance without paying for range they will never use. If you are big, fast, or landing airs, step up to the 15.
Available here in Blue Steel with a 105mm brake and Black Metal with a 95mm brake. We will check the brake against your ski's waist before mounting.
All the Pivot feel, sized for how most people actually ski. Our most-recommended binding in the shop.
