The 22 Designs Lynx is an NTN tech-toe telemark binding built for light touring, and it lets tele skiers keep pace with alpine touring partners in the backcountry.
On the way up, the tech toe means you are not lifting the binding with every stride. One touch puts the Lynx into free pivot mode, and spring-loaded dual-height climbing bars help on steeper skin tracks. At the top, you engage ski mode with your pole, so you can peel skins and drop in without bending over. A lift lip on the claw lets you flip it up with your pole grip.
On the way down, composite flex plates and adjustable preload give you smooth, powerful telemark turns, and you can tune the flex to your style. Longer springs add durability, and double-chamfer, low-profile arms save weight.
It is machined in the USA from aluminum and sold as a pair. 22 Designs recommends the Lynx for setups that spend most of their time in the backcountry. The Small size uses a softer main spring and flex plate for a softer feel.
