Smith Glide Jr MIPS Helmet 26/27

The Glide Jr. Mips is Smith's lightweight youth helmet with the widest youth size range in its line. It uses lightweight in-mold construction that fuses the shell and EPS foam into one durable piece, adds the Mips Brain Protection System to reduce rotational forces from angled impacts, and is certified to ASTM F 2040 and CE EN 1077:2007 Class B. A size YM with Mips weighs 12 oz (350 g).

Fixed vents keep air moving for consistent airflow and fog-free goggles, and the AirEvac system integrates with Smith goggles. The trade-off of fixed vents is that you cannot close them on the coldest days, which the super-soft, fuzzy liner helps balance with added warmth.

It is for young skiers and riders, from first days on the bunny hill to kids ripping around the whole mountain. The intuitive dial adjusts the fit on the go, so it is easy to fine-tune as kids grow.

Youth sizing. A removable goggle strap lock keeps the shell streamlined when goggles are worn under the helmet. Bring your young skier in and we will help you find the right size.

We think the Glide Jr. is a fantastic first helmet, light, comfortable and protective, so kids can focus on having a blast on the hill.
