Women's Ortler Gore-Tex Pants 26/27

The Ortler Gore-Tex Pants are very lightweight, wind- and waterproof hardshell pants for demanding ski tours. The new Gore-Tex Performance fabric uses an ePE-based membrane in a soft, low-noise 3-layer build that weighs just 86 g/m² and holds a minimum 28,000 mm water column for its entire service life. The women's version weighs 375 g.

Thinner yet more robust than before, the fabric keeps its breathability during hard efforts and packs very small. The trade-off is that these are an ultralight touring pant stripped to the essentials, so they are not the warm, heavily featured pant for lift-served storm days.

Ortovox rates them top marks for ski touring and strong for high-altitude tours, and they are tested and recommended by the German Mountain and Ski Guides Association. They suit ambitious ski tourers who want dependable weather protection at minimal weight.

Regular fit with an adjustable waistband, belt loops and anatomically shaped knees. Side vent zips, zip-adjustable leg width, integrated gaiters and Dyneema-Cordura edge protection are included, along with two thigh pockets, the right with an expansion pleat, mesh pocket and transceiver carabiner.

These are a fantastic choice for long touring days and big objectives, light enough to carry all day and ready for anything the weather does.
