The Le Bent Kai Jones Pro Series Light Cushion Sock is a knee-high snow sock built around light cushioning underfoot and on the shin. The yarn blend is 35% rayon from bamboo, 25% merino wool, 38% nylon and 2% elastane. Features include Memory Stretch, Ghost Seam construction, a Stay Up Cuff, a snug Y-fit heel, mesh ventilation panels and an anti-bunch instep.
The honest trade-off is that light cushion sits in the middle of the range. It gives more comfort on impacts than an ultralight sock, but it takes up a little more room in the boot than a zero cushion model, which matters in a very tight race fit.
