Black Diamond Soloist Gloves 25/26

The Black Diamond Soloist is a long gauntlet glove built for cold, technical days in the mountains. The shell is a four-way stretch, 100% recycled fabric with a PFC-free GTT Empel DWR finish, backed by a waterproof BD.dry insert. The goat leather palm has a reinforcement patch. Warmth comes from a removable liner with 170g PrimaLoft Gold, plus 133g PrimaLoft Gold in the palm and a recycled fleece lining. Black Diamond puts it in its warmest category.

The trade-off with a glove this warm is that it can be more than you need on mild spring days. The removable liner helps you tune it, but a two-piece glove also means a little more fuss when you pull it apart to dry at the end of the day.

It is built for skiers and climbers who spend long, cold days outside and want a palm that holds up to rope and rough rock.

The long gauntlet cuff is designed to go over your jacket sleeve to seal out snow. Wear it with the liner for full warmth or pull the liner when conditions ease up.
