The Gordini Junior Stomp Mitt is a kids' ski mitten built to wrap young hands in warmth with a simple, weatherproof design. It uses a polyester shell with softshell trim, Megaloft insulation and an AquaBloc waterproof insert in a breathable 3-layer construction, with a reinforced palm, a hand warmer pocket and a nose wipe panel.
The honest trade-off is dexterity. As a mitten, it keeps fingers together for warmth, so small tasks like zippers and buckles are a little harder for kids than in a five-finger glove.
It is made for young skiers and riders on cold days on the mountain, and it works just as well for sledding and snow forts in the backyard.
The Stomp comes in junior sizes S, M, L and XL. A generous gauntlet cuff is designed to fit over jacket sleeves to help keep snow out, an adjustable wrist strap snugs it down, and a leash is included so it stays with your kid.
We think it is a great, no-fuss winter mitt that keeps little hands warm and dry from first chair to last run.
