Thermal Trekker Heated Boot Bag 26/27

The Thermal Trekker is the heated one, and it is the original dual chamber heated boot bag. Kulkea's Thermal Conduction Design puts heat against both sides and the bottom of each boot rather than blowing warm air at them, and 90 minutes is enough to get them warm through. It runs off a 120V wall plug or a 12V car plug. 62 litres, boots up to Mondo 31, built from water-resistant 1680D ballistic nylon, polyester and tarpaulin.

It is the heaviest and priciest bag Kulkea make, and the heating only works when you have power, which in practice means the night before or the drive up. There is also wiring in it, which a plain bag does not have.

For skiers who start cold and hate it: early mornings, sub-zero days, anyone who has spent twenty minutes forcing a frozen shell on. If your boots live indoors and you drive ten minutes to the hill, the Boot Trekker does everything else this does.

One size, and the boot pockets take up to a Mondo 31, which is roughly a men's US 13. The centre compartment holds pants, layers and a helmet.
