Standard GORE-TEX lofoten pants, giving you the freeride cut and full feature set without the Pro fabric premium. Reinforced scuff guards, full-length side venting, and snap-seal compatibility with the lofoten jackets so the waist connection still seals on deep days.
Same argument as the jacket, with one caveat. Pants take more abrasion than jackets do, so if there's one piece in the kit where Pro fabric is defensible, it's this one. Edges, buckles, rock, crust and chairlift seats all work on a pant cuff in a way they never touch a sleeve.
That said, the reinforced scuff guards are doing the real protective work at the cuff regardless of which fabric is above them, and standard GORE-TEX is genuinely durable. Unless you're putting expedition mileage on them, this is plenty of pant.
Technical fit with room for a base layer. If you plan to run these over a heavier mid or you're between sizes, size up rather than down.
