The Core Carbon 89 lives at the sweet spot where efficient climbing meets confident descending. Built for skiers who earn their turns, this all-mountain touring ski feels featherlight on the skin track, then instantly composed when it’s time to point downhill. Its carbon-driven construction keeps swing weight low without dulling feedback, so each step up feels easier—and every turn down feels intentional.
On snow, the 89 mm waist delivers a rare kind of versatility. It floats naturally through soft powder, stays calm and predictable when conditions firm up, and holds an edge when terrain tightens or exposure increases. Whether you’re opening it up on wide alpine faces or threading technical lines, the Core Carbon 89 remains stable, balanced, and reassuring underfoot.
Refined from one of the most decorated skis in Hagan’s lineup, this latest generation raises the bar for modern ski touring. Designed for advanced tourers and professionals who expect one ski to handle long days, big vertical, and variable snow, it also surprises with how well it carves clean, precise turns back at the resort. Built in Austria, it reflects a deep tradition of craftsmanship—and a clear love of turning skis.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
