The Big Agnes Camp Robber Bedroll is a down quilt and pad cover in one, filled with 11 oz of water-repellent 650-fill DownTek down. The shell and lining are GRS-certified recycled polyester taffeta with a PFC-free water-repellent finish, and the Wide Long size measures 25 by 78 inches and weighs about 2 lb 3 oz.
The trade-off is that it is a summer system rather than a winter bag. It is made for warm nights and car camping comfort, so it will not replace a mummy bag on a cold shoulder-season trip.
It is for summer overnights and campers who hate fighting a sleeping bag. The soft, fitted pad cover connects to the quilt, the Pad Cinch System adjusts to different pad sizes, and an integrated Pillow Barn holds your pillow and gives access to the pad valve. Zip the quilt on to make a cocoon, or unzip it for a light down camp blanket.
It packs into a bedroll-style stuff sack with compression straps and a carry handle, sized to fit a deflated pad too.
We love it for warm summer nights at Vermont campgrounds when you want to sleep like you are at home.
