Contour Hybrid Mix Kids 25/26

The Contour Hybrid Mix Kids are Austrian-made climbing skins with a 65% mohair, 35% nylon plush. Contour's hybrid two-layer adhesive blends hot-melt glue and glueless technology, with an upper layer that bonds firmly to the ski in low temperatures and peels off with no residue. They're trim-to-fit with no tail clips required, and an offset hybrid cutter is included. Contour backs them with a 3-year warranty.

The trade-off with a mohair blend is balance. It's designed to split the difference between grip and glide rather than maxing out either one.

These are for young skiers starting to tour, whether that's skinning up the resort with the family or short backcountry outings.

The skins trim to fit any skis using the included cutter. A three-part backing foil lets you remove the center section to trim, then peel the outer strips to apply. If the glue loses tack, it can be washed with soap and water to restore it.
