Spring to fall we are open 9am to 5pm. In winter we are open 8am to 6pm once the chairs start spinning.

We carry apparel and equipment for ski, bike and human-powered adventure: alpine, backcountry and alpine touring, telemark and cross country ski gear, bikes and bike gear, footwear, apparel, and camping and climbing gear. Brands include 4FRNT, Atomic, Black Crows, Black Diamond, Blizzard, Dynafit, Fischer, G3, Giro, Hestra, K2, Mammut, Nordica, Norrøna, Ortovox, Rossignol, Salomon, Scarpa, Smith, Tecnica, Voile and Volkl.

Yes. Our boot fitting team measures your feet and talks through your skiing style to find the right boot, and preliminary boot work is included with the purchase of a pair of boots. We also fix painful boots: shell punch $45 per punch, shell grind $35, liner heat mold $40 for the pair, boot board grind $25, custom footbeds $199 including labor, and general boot labor $75 per hour. Tunes are $65 (Green Circle: side edge sharpen and buff wax), $75 (Blue Square: adds base edge, stone grind, hand file and minor P-Tex) and $85 (Black Diamond: adds specific edge bevels, extensive P-Tex and hot wax). A hot wax only is $35 and a Nordic tune is $50.

Yes. AT mounts are $79, telemark mounts $79, alpine mounts $69, XC mounts $49 and Zero Tolerance mounts (skimo race and quiver killers) $99. Inserts or coils are $15 per hole and a remount is $15. We also do binding adjustments ($29), skin cutting ($35) and base welds ($45 per weld). A rush fee of $25 is available.

Yes. We rent alpine, telemark and alpine touring (backcountry) skis, snowboards and snowshoes. An adult Performance ski package (skis, boots and poles) is $45 for one day, and a Gold Medal package with current-year, freshly tuned skis is $60. Telemark and alpine touring packages with climbing skins are $75 per day. Kids 12 and under start at $35 per day. Reserve online or call (802) 253-4531.

Yes. You can try skis from our demo fleet before you buy. Let us know you are demoing to decide on a purchase, and we will put the cost of your demo days toward a new pair of that same ski.

Yes, right at the start of the Stowe Rec Path. Rentals include rec path cruisers, kids bikes and trailers, e-bikes, hardtail, fat and gravel bikes, and full suspension mountain and e-mountain bikes, by the hour, half day, full day or 24 hours. Helmets are included, and groups of 10 or more get 10% off.

Yes. Crash pads are $29 per day and climbing shoes are $19 per day. Smugglers' Notch, Prospect Rock and Bolton Dome are minutes from the shop. Call (802) 253-4531 to reserve.

UPS shipping is free on orders over $199 within the 48 contiguous states, and orders under $199 ship for a $20 flat rate. Local pickup at the shop in Stowe is free. Orders ship by end of business the next day via UPS or USPS. For 2-Day or Overnight service, call (802) 253-4531. We ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada at separate rates. Bikes are in-store pickup only.

Within 14 days of purchase, unused items in their original packaging get a full refund. From 15 to 30 days, we offer exchange or store credit only, with a restocking fee of up to $30 on clothing, skis and boots and $100 on bicycles. After 30 days all sales are final. Clearance and sale items are final sale, as are base layers, heat-molded boots, drilled skis and mounted bindings.
