Men's Tour Glove 26/27

The Tour Glove is a robust, lightweight softshell glove built for ski and high alpine touring on snow, ice and rock. The windproof, water-resistant outer is 85% polyamide and 15% elastane with a polyurethane membrane, goatskin leather covers the palms, and the pair weighs 50 g.

Inside, soft merino wool jersey lines the palms for warmth, while Merino Fleece Grid on the back of the hand regulates temperature and moisture. The trade-off is that this is a light touring glove, not an insulated winter glove, so for long cold descents or resort days you will want something warmer.

Ortovox rates it top marks for ski touring and high-altitude tours, and strong for freeride. It is for skiers who handle edges, axes and rock on the way up and want grip and durability without bulk.

Regular fit with a pull-on aid and a connection clip. Leather punch-hole reinforcements on the thumbs and index fingers protect against sharp ski edges, and a carabiner loop sits on the ring finger.

This is a glove we love for big touring days, tough enough for the technical bits and light enough to wear from bottom to top.
