The K2 Mindbender 88 W is the redesigned version of K2's frontside favorite for women. It pairs a non-forked Titanal I-Beam with Dark Matter Tech for stability, on an All Terrain Rocker profile with mild camber underfoot and pronounced tip rocker.
K2 added light Paulownia wood to the Aspen core to keep weight reasonable, and the bio resin used in the layup improves core bonding and cold-weather strength. A sintered base and partial twin tip round it out.
The trade-off is width. At 88 mm class it shines on firm snow and groomers and feels less floaty than a mid-90s ski when the snow piles up. For skiers who spend most of their time on piste, that narrower platform means quicker edge to edge and more grip.
It is built for intermediate to advanced women who want a ski that rewards good technique without punishing a lazy turn. Most skiers land around chin height; go a size up if you ski fast and like a longer, steadier platform.
For carving the mountain from first chair to last, the Mindbender 88 W is a confident, joyful ski that makes groomer days feel special.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
