Duos Freebird Poles

The Duos Freebird is a two-piece telescopic pole for skiers looking for a lightweight and reliable touring stick. It pairs an 18 mm 7075 aluminum top tube with a 16 mm composite bottom tube, adjusts from 110 to 140 cm with the Power Lock 3.0 aluminum lever, and weighs about 245 g per pole.

The trade-off of an adjustable pole is a little more hardware than a fixed pole. In return you get one pole you can shorten for the skin track, lengthen for traverses and pack down to 100 cm.

It is for touring skiers who change terrain all day. The 38 cm extra-long EVA foam grip lets you choke down on steep traverses without readjusting the pole, and the ergonomic strap and anodized aluminum top cap keep it comfortable.

A flexible 90 mm basket adapts to the terrain and a tungsten carbide tip bites on ice. Made in Austria, one size fits most skiers.
