The Blizzard Zero G 96 W is a women's touring ski with a 96mm waist, a rockered tip, camber underfoot and a flat tail. It is built on Blizzard's Trueblend Tour core with a sandwich sidewall and cap construction.
It is very light, around 1,145g per ski in the 164cm by skimo.co's measurement, which pays off on long climbs. The trade-off of that low weight is that it rewards smooth, centered skiing more than a heavier resort ski would in chopped-up snow.
It is a great pick for women who tour often and want one ski for powder days, spring corn and everything between. The notched tip and flat, notched tail make skin fit simple.
Lengths run 157 to 178cm with the radius growing from 17 to 20m. Most touring skiers choose a length around chin height.
For long days on the skin track and fun turns all the way down, the Zero G 96 W is a light, confident ski we love.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
