The Haldigrat HS Bib Pants are Mammut's freeride hardshell bibs, light enough for the ascent and burly enough for the descent. They use a 40D outer fabric of post-consumer recycled nylon with a Drytech Pro Technology waterproof membrane rated to a 30,000 mm water column and 30,000 g/m²/24h breathability. They weigh 590 g.
The trade-off is that they are uninsulated shells, so on the coldest days you will want a base layer or insulated tights underneath. That same approach keeps them comfortable on the skin track when a lined pant would cook you.
They are for skiers who ride the resort and the backcountry and want a bib that keeps snow out. The fixed bib has an antimicrobial treatment and a Barryvox-compatible transceiver pocket with an inner loop.
Snow sports regular fit with room for layers. Side ventilation zippers, integrated snow gaiters, Dyneema edge protection and snap-adjustable leg width round it out, plus two leg pockets with a warm neoprene phone pocket inside.
We love the Haldigrat Bib for deep days, bootpacks and long tours, keeping you dry and snow-free from first chair to last run out.
