The Venet Swisswool 60 Vest is a lightweight, breathable insulated vest designed for ski tours. Outside is Pertex Quantum made from 100% recycled polyamide, wind- and water-resistant with high scuff resistance. Inside is 60 g/m² of Swisswool insulation, 80% Swisswool virgin wool and 20% polylactide. The women's version weighs 230 g.
Flexible Merino Airsolation Stretch inserts on the back and sides add four-way stretch and ventilation, so the vest warms without overheating. The honest trade-off of any vest is bare arms: perfect on the climb, but you will want a jacket over it on a windy ridge.
It suits touring skiers who want core warmth that breathes, from quick after-work laps to long days out. If you are after a warm layer for resort days and chairlift rides, a full insulated jacket is the better choice.
Athletic fit with an elastic hood, elastic armholes and an elastic waist. Two chest pockets are placed to work with a backpack and are mesh-lined for extra ventilation.
