Salomon calls the QST 100 the most playful QST yet. It has a 100mm waist, 130/118 tip and tail, a lively 13.5 m radius and a rocker-camber-rocker freeride profile. Under the topsheet there is a full poplar core, a titanal binding reinforcement underfoot, basalt and fiberglass layers, full sandwich sidewalls and a cork damplifier in the tip.
The short radius is what makes it fun. It turns quickly and loves to pivot in bumps and trees, and it will not feel as locked-in at high speed on long groomers as the 106 or the Blank. The titanal underfoot keeps a solid grip on firm snow.
It suits intermediate to advanced skiers who want an everyday ski that carves the groomers and handles a powder stash. Big, fast skiers who want stability above all should size up to the 106.
Size by how you ski: longer for more float and calm, shorter for a quicker, more nimble ride. We are happy to help you choose.
The QST 100 turns an ordinary day into a playful one. Nimble, lively and a blast anywhere on the hill.
This guide is for alpine (downhill) skis. Ski length depends on your height, your ability, and how you like to ski. Use this chart as a starting point, then talk to us about the ski itself: rocker, width, and turn shape all change how long a ski feels.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
