or skiers who love to explore every side of the mountain, the Salomon QST 94 strikes the perfect balance between agility and confidence. With a 94mm waist and a wider, freeride-inspired tip, it delivers smooth, predictable performance whether you’re carving groomers, slashing through soft snow, or threading the trees on a powder day. Stable on hardpack yet playful in mixed conditions, this ski brings the fun of freeride to an everyday all-mountain platform.
At its core, the Full Poplar Woodcore fuels lively rebound and consistent snow contact, while the Ti Binding Reinforcement plate boosts edge hold and power underfoot. Basalt Superlight Fibers and fiberglass layers refine the flex pattern for a precise, controlled feel that’s still energetic and responsive. The signature Cork Damplifier, embedded in the tip, soaks up vibrations and chatter with impressive efficiency, delivering a quiet, confidence-building ride even in chopped-up snow.
With its Freeride Profile, the QST 94 features a rockered tip for float, a subtle tail rocker for maneuverability, and a shorter on-snow contact length for quicker edge transitions. Rounded out by Full Sandwich Sidewalls, it grips with authority on firm snow while maintaining a light, playful touch that encourages creativity from first chair to last lap.

Quick Rule
- Beginner: ski tip around your chin. Shorter skis turn easily.
- Intermediate: tip between your nose and forehead.
- Advanced: tip around the top of your head, for stability at speed.
- Expert: about 5cm longer than advanced, for hard charging and big-mountain terrain.
Adjust For
- Go longer: heavier build, fast skiing, deep snow, lots of tip rocker.
- Go shorter: lighter build, tight trees and moguls, uphill touring.
- Telemark: if you want a ski for tele, we recommend going down about 10cm from the length you normally like.
