The Marker 4.5 is a binding built for the youngest skiers. It has a DIN range of 0.75 to 4.5, weighs 570 g, and pairs Marker's 4-linkage JR toe with the Compact JR 2 heel. It fits boot soles from 190 to 310 mm and is rated for skiers from 12 to 57 kg.
The trade-off of a low DIN range is that it is made for small, light skiers rather than strong teens. That low range is exactly what lets it release reliably for little kids who weigh almost nothing.
It is for kids just starting out and young skiers growing into the whole mountain, from the bunny hill to their first laps off the summit chair.
It works with children's and adult alpine boots (types A and C) as well as GripWalk boots, so it keeps up as boots get bigger. Bring your skier and their boots in and we will set it up.
We love the Marker 4.5 as a safe, simple binding that lets the little ones focus on having fun.
